This banjo is made of finest selected walnut with a fantastically figured resonator. It is partly gold plated (hooks, armrest, tuners, tailpiece) to give a very shiny but light appearance like a fish in the water. The tuners have genuine mother of pearl buttons. It features triple ivoroid binding and wooden purfling throughout and a matching inlaid ring in the resonator. The fingerboard inlays are made of engraved "Goldfish" a precious, shining yellowish pearl topped by the golden, smooth edged fish truss rod cover plate. The headstock inlays are made from really colorful engraved abalone in a unique design. The armrest is artistically hand engraved with a matching design. It has only the finest metal parts available including a bell bronce cast flathead tonering and bell bronce one piece flange. Their combination with the walnut wood provides the warm yet bright ring of banjo sound we all seek.
